Wordful Wednesday

Monday, November 10th was the 3rd anniversary of my dear mom's passing. I can't believe she has been gone now for three years. On one hand it seems like so long ago, on another it seems like just yesterday. I remember as a child telling my mom "I want you to live forever," and thinking that she would. I miss her so bad some times. Not a day goes by that I do not think of her. I see her in me when I look in the mirror, I hear her in me when I laugh out loud. Even though I'm not a child any longer I still feel like an orphan without my parents. The hardest thing is that she was never able to meet her grandson. I miss you mom, and I love you.

My mother passed away 7 years ago next Tuesday. I too am hurt most by the fact that she didn't get to meet her grandson. Her birthday was October 3rd and I wrote a post about it too. Sometimes it just helps to be able to get out what is in your head. Here's the link to the post if you'd like to look at it.

I won't say I know how you feel because I don't, but know that I will say a prayer for you. I am so sorry for your loss and I know it must be sad to not have your Mother meet your child.
